Job summary

Universal Health Services through Cedar Creek Hospital in Michigan is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to clean, sanitize and maintain hospital areas. The role requires the ability to walk, stand and lift up to 40 lbs., with on-the-job training provided and prior housekeeping experience preferred.

The position includes day shift hours with every other weekend rotation and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO and more.

Qualifications

• High School graduate preferred.
• On the job training provided; experience in housekeeping preferred.
• Must be able to safely walk, stand and complete cleaning tasks.
• Must be able to lift or carry up to 40 lbs. and move heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize and maintain hospital areas to provide a safe, sanitary, attractive and orderly facility.
• Coordinate with maintenance and clinical departments in daily routines.
