Xanitos, Inc. is hiring Full-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for 1st shift at Tennova LaFollette Medical Center in LaFollette, TN. The role covers cleaning and maintaining patient care areas on client premises with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality.

Start times are early morning with potential weekend rotation. The position requires high standards of cleanliness, post-offer screenings, and adherence to the company’s safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces and trim.
• Cleans rooms, corridors, restrooms, lobbies and other areas.
• Sweeps and vacuums floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings and windows.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.

• Must be available to work Rotational Weekends
• Hourly Pay Rate $11.50

Job Overview:

The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Xanitos may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements and applicable industry standards.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and Transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
• Medical cleaning a plus
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
