Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly hospitalHousekeeper at Wythe County Community Hospital in Wytheville, VA. You will clean patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas to ensure a safe, healing environment for patients and staff.

This role offers day, evening, and night shifts with both full-time and part-time opportunities. A background check and drug screen are required, and applicants must be 18+ years old with good English communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.
• Preferred: Housekeeping experience in healthcare or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
