Job summary

HHS is seeking friendly housekeeping team members to join the Deaconess Illinois Medical Center EVS team in Illinois. You will clean patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas to create a safe, healing environment, with an evening shift and $15.50 per hour.

Full-time positions available; must pass background check and drug screen. English communication and teamwork are essential; healthcare cleaning experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
