Job summary

The Brook Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper in Louisville, KY to maintain clean patient rooms, offices, and public areas in a safe environment. Staff will follow OSHA regulations and infection-control procedures while delivering dependable service.

One year of healthcare housekeeping experience is preferred; a High School Diploma or GED is recommended. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and respect for patient privacy.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year experience in housekeeping duties, preferably in a health care facility.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping duties and safety precautions.
• Sensitivity to diverse cultures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, offices and public areas.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, sweep and take out trash.
• Ensure adequate linens are stocked in the facility.
• Clean areas with disinfectants and maintain infection-control practices.
• Maintain confidentiality of facility employees and patient information.
• Report safety concerns and assist in risk prevention.
