Job summary

HHS is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper for Newark-Wayne Community Hospital EVS to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment that supports patient healing.

We offer both full-time and part-time roles with day, evening, and night shifts. Candidates should be at least 18, able to communicate in English, and work well in a team. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, and HHS provides competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.
• Preferred: Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environment services, custodian, janitorial, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
