Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and practices.
• Knowledge of cleansers, supplies, and equipment.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Knowledge of state and facility policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of universal precautions.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures, cleaning methods, materials and equipment.
• Knowledge of infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Cleans bathrooms and disposes of garbage, sanitizes floors and surfaces.
• Changes linens on client beds and assists in laundry tasks.
• Uses appropriate cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Reports broken items or safety issues to supervisor.
• Provides safety awareness for staff and clients.
