Job summary

Sierra Medical Center in Reno, Nevada is looking for a full-time Environmental Services/Housekeeping professional to maintain a clean and safe hospital environment in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role supports patient care by keeping all areas tidy and sanitary.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, offices, waiting areas and corridors, while adhering to infection control practices.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years related experience, hospital preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks to ensure a sanitary environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping tasks in a professional manner reflecting the highest integrity of the EVS department.
• Cleans patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, and corridors in a clean, sanitary manner.
• Completes work assignments in a timely manner.
• Uses appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Follows infection control practices including hand hygiene and standard precautions.
