Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is seeking a Part Time Housekeeper to provide sparkling, hygienic, patient-centered cleaning services. You will routinely clean patient rooms, nursing units, and common areas, while also handling linen services and safety practices.

This role requires independence and a commitment to service excellence. Schedule includes days and weekends with opportunities for career development within UHS and its locations.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills to enter patient room turnover.
• Ability to work independently.
• Healthcare housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Routinely cleans patient rooms in a timely manner after discharge.
• Cleans nursing units, surgical areas, offices, laboratories, waiting areas, restrooms and other areas as assigned.
• Provides linen services throughout the facility.
• Monitors the facility to identify items needing cleaning and attention.
• Follows safety and cleaning supply procedures and works safely with cleaning supplies.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
