Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is hiring a Food Service Worker to assist in set-up and serving food across the hospital. The position is PRN with a varied schedule and opportunities to work across food service areas.

You will clean and sanitize stations, stock supplies, serve meals, and interact with patients and staff while following safety policies. No prior experience required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• No previous work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work stations.
• Sets up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products, and utensils.
• Serves and replenishes food from counters and steam tables.
• Interacts with customers in the serving and dining areas.
• Attends safety trainings and reports accidents.
