Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Dallas is seeking a Food Service Worker for the Food & Nutrition Services team on a PRN basis. You will serve meals in the cafeteria and on patient tray lines, assemble, deliver and retrieve patient trays, and document service times.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a Food Handler certificate. We offer mentorship, training and a supportive team environment with growth opportunities in a hospital setting focused on high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• FHC - Food Handlers Certificate is required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Serves food on the cafeteria and patient tray lines.
• Assemble, deliver and retrieve patient trays.
• Documents food delivery times and performs simple record keeping.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment routinely.
• Washes and sanitizes dishes, and all cooking utensils.
• Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
