Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Food Service General Manager for the healthcare team in Pittsburgh at Allegheny General Hospital. The role oversees a food service department and leads a team to ensure meals are delivered to customers and clients on schedule.

You will manage staff, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and handle budgeting for ingredients and forecasts while coordinating with district leadership. The position requires onsite work and strong client service focus.

Qualifications

• Coordinating food service operations experience of at least 2 years.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse client-focused environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget the department and manage ingredient purchasing and forecasts.
• Coordinate with the district manager or other departments regarding dining service operations.
