Responsibilities

• Use recipes to prepare entrees, vegetables, sandwiches and other items.
• Coordinate daily with the Director on production and quality targets.
• Maintain accurate daily production records.
• Operate cash register during serving periods as needed.
• Record quantities used, produced amounts and meal counts.
• Serve correct portions and maintain portion control.
• Keep work areas clean and restock throughout the day.
• Label, date and rotate products in storage areas.
• Assist in inventory counts of food and supplies.
• Assist in cooking for special events when required.
• Attend training and meetings with Food Service leadership.
• Support cross-training of staff; follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
