Job summary

HHS is seeking an AM Project Tech to join the housekeeping team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL. This full-time role supports hospital-wide cleaning operations and floor care, ensuring a safe, clean environment for patients and staff.

You will perform floor maintenance tasks, follow established procedures, and contribute to a courteous, professional patient experience. Strong teamwork and reliable English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.
• Preferred: Project tech experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare)

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floors.
• Perform floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned.
• Follow all cleaning procedures and best practices.
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.
