Qualifications

• Previous floor care or environmental services experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of safety data sheets and infection control standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows department policies on environmental services and floor care.
• Sweeps, dust mops, and wet mops floors in assigned areas.
• Strips, waxes, and buffs floors using approved products and procedures.
• Operates floor care equipment safely and cost-effectively.
• Uses and stores chemicals per SDS and infection control standards.
• Posts wet floor signs and schedules to minimize disruption and slip risk.
• Reports spills, damages, or hazards to supervisor promptly.
• Keeps work areas and equipment clean and organized.
• Restocks supplies as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
