Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring immediately for a full-time Floor Technician at UM Saint Joseph Medical Center in Towson, MD. The position offers a fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour with a full-time schedule, including rotating weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surfaces.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
