Baptist Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine, emergency, and scheduled maintenance for the hospital complex in Town of Florida, NY. Candidates should have familiarity with hand tools, electrical, plumbing, and air conditioning systems. A High School diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid Florida Drivers License and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. The estimated pay range is $21.24 - $27.61 per hour depending on experience.

Description

To repair, maintain and service existing systems involving air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, ventilation and pressure/process piping. Estimated pay range for this position is $26.13 - $33.97 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

• High School, Certificate of completion, GED, Training, Experience.
  
  

Licenses & Certifications

• Drivers License from Florida.
• Journeymans certificate.
  
  

Additional Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills, strong communication skills.
• Knowledge with controls, (pneumatic and electrical) and high voltage wiring for heating, refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings and schematics of all HVAC, refrigeration equipment and systems.
