Job summary

Mission Hospital McDowell, part of Mission Health and an HCA Healthcare system, seeks a Facility Services Manager to lead construction, engineering and environment of care across multiple sites in the Marion, NC area. The role emphasizes safety, compliance and staff leadership within a hospital setting.

The candidate will manage day-to-day operations, drive regulatory adherence, and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure reliable, compliant facilities services.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred.
• Ten years of technical and managerial engineering experience.
• Proficient computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, email.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for construction, engineering, environment of care, ambulatory care, and facility operations.
• Oversees day-to-day facilities management activities and safety/compliance.
• Collaborates with hospital areas on environment of care and regulatory requirements.
