Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking aMaintenance Technician to perform diverse maintenance tasks across our Omaha-area facilities. The role requires 3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of building mechanical and utility systems. You will join a team dedicated to safe, reliable hospital operations.

Location: Methodist Physician Clinics in the Omaha area. Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am–3:30pm with rotating on-call.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3 years of maintenance experience preferred, especially in plant maintenance or building mechanical/utility systems.
• Valid and current driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of mechanical and utility systems in buildings is required; hospital maintenance experience is preferred.
• Basic electronics, plumbing, and refrigeration skills are required; basic computer skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks (touch-up, walls, doors, hardware, minor electrical and plumbing).
• Maintain parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks; remove snow and treat icy conditions.
• Move furniture and equipment between facilities; follow departmental procedures to support requirements.
• Enter and track data in the AIMS system for work orders and maintenance activities.
