Job summary

HHS Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor at Bayhealth Kent EVS. The role supports leadership to maintain hospital cleanliness and safety, with evening shifts 3:00 PM–11:30 PM and a weekend schedule. Pay is $24.30 per hour, part-time (16 hours weekly).

Responsibilities include supervising staff, quality checks, supplies management, payroll assistance, and adherence to cleaning procedures. Clinical environment requires strong teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Effective English communication and teamwork required.
• Maintain personal hygiene, neat grooming, and uniform.
• GED or high school diploma required; supervisor experience preferred.
• Healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EVS team members and assign cleaning duties for full area coverage.
• Conduct daily inspections and ensure quality control across departments.
• Manage supplies and ensure equipment is available for staff.
• Assist with payroll and administrative duties as assigned.
• Follow HHS cleaning procedures and provide courteous service to patients and staff.
