Job summary

HHS Government Services LLC at Langley Air Force Base Hospital in Hampton, VA is seeking a full-time Housekeeper. Qualifications

• Must communicate, read, write and understand English.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of hospital/healthcare housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, beds, gurneys, and restrooms to aseptic standards.
• Perform terminal cleaning of specialized rooms (Surgical, L&D, ER, Cath Lab, Burn Unit, Neonatal, Pediatrics).
• Collect and dispose of trash, RMW, and recycling; handle soiled linen.
• Replenish supplies and maintain clean, organized janitor’s closet.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, Joint Commission, and state health regulations; read SDS.
• Use PPE and adhere to HIPAA at all times.
• Report maintenance needs and follow safety precautions.
