Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking an Operations Leader for Environmental Services to support the General Manager in daily EVS operations across the regional health ministry. You will lead teams, ensure cleanliness standards, and drive cost-saving initiatives while aligning with Trinity Health values.

The role emphasizes collaboration with leadership, adherence to safety and regulatory requirements, and development of talent for long-term growth within the EVS program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years progressive Housekeeping/EVS experience; Bachelor’s degree and/or CHESP preferred.
• Knowledge of JCAHO, Federal, State and local safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work in a diverse, collaborative, team-oriented culture.
• Ability to analyze data, audit processes, and identify root causes for improvement.
• Strong leadership, organizational, planning, delegation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day EVS operations and lead teams.
• Help develop and implement cost-reduction plans aligned with EVS goals.
• Provide operational and technical support to stakeholders and EVS managers.
• Coordinate core program systems, scheduling, and routine cleaning protocols.
• Monitor performance, feedback, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Hire, train, appraise, and supervise staff; manage hiring justifications.
• Ensure safe conditions, regulatory compliance, and accurate recordkeeping.
