Job summary

Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital | Texsan seeks an EVS Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness of patient care areas, administrative spaces and restrooms, delivering a safe, sanitary environment for patients and staff.

You will follow prescribed cleaning methods, prepare service carts, spot-clean floors and fixtures, change linens, assist with spills, and apply infection control practices as part of a dedicated Environmental Services team.

Qualifications

• Must read, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas using prescribed methods.
• Prepare the Environmental Service carts for the assigned area.
• Spot clean, dust, polish, sweep, mop floors; clean fixtures, showers, and rooms for incoming patients.
• Remove soiled linens and change beds with clean linens.
• Assist in cleaning of emergency spills and apply infection control practices.
