Job summary

Aramark Environmental Services is seeking an Assistant Director in Atlanta, GA to lead EVS operations in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment. You will drive patient room cleaning, discharge cleaning, floor care, and regulatory readiness while partnering with hospital leadership.

You will oversee staffing, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring high standards of safety, infection prevention, and service excellence across shifts.

Qualifications

• Healthcare EVS experience required.
• Hospital EVS leadership experience required.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare EVS operations, infection prevention, patient flow, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with HCAHPS, KPIs, bed turnaround, discharge cleaning, and operational performance metrics.
• Experience managing large teams and high-volume hospital operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, direction, and daily oversight of Environmental Services operations in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Lead EVS leaders and frontline staff across all shifts with accountability and engagement.
• Maintain high standards of safety, infection prevention, sanitation, quality, and service excellence.
• Collaborate with Nursing, Infection Prevention, hospital leadership, and departments to support patient flow and operational needs.
• Monitor and improve EVS performance metrics (HCAHPS, bed turnaround, discharge times, labor productivity, quality).
• Support staffing, scheduling, productivity, labor management, supply usage, inventory, and budget performance.
