Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking a Facilities EVS staff member to perform cleaning functions in assigned areas, maintaining sanitary, attractive, and orderly conditions. Reports to Supervisor and participates in educational programs along with routine EVS tasks.

Responsibilities include floor care, carpet cleaning, dusting, fixture cleaning, rest room stocking, waste disposal, and support for Laundry Tech Linen Handler and Utility Tech functions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Performs routine and repetitive tasks from detailed written instructions.
• Attention to detail of work routine required.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuums and spot cleans carpets.
• Dusts furniture, woodwork, equipment, and dust mops floors.
• Polishes and cleans fixtures in utility room and bathrooms.
• Cleans fixtures, equipment, windows, walls, rest rooms, etc.
• Stocks supplies in rest rooms as needed.
• Remove solid linens, trash, bio-hazard from collection areas.
• Notifies supervisor regarding needed repairs: submits supply order sheers on a weekly basis.
• Gathers and disposes trash and waste materials.
• Assist and perform Laundry Tech Linen Handler functions as needed.
• Assist and perform Utility Tech functions as needed.
• Participates in educational programs and in-services.
• Attends meetings as required.
