Job summary

Responsibilities

• Inspects assigned areas for cleanliness and sanitation and corrects as needed.
• Cleans toilets, basins, showers, floors, walls and fixtures using appropriate cleaning supplies and procedures.
• Transports, disposes of soiled linen, trash and bio-medical waste per guidelines.
• Maintains stock of supplies and ensures equipment is functional and ready for use.
• Participates in Quality Improvement activities to improve patient and caregiver environments.
