Banner Health is seeking a Housekeeping/EVS Associate for the Environmental Services team at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson. This Per Diem role requires cleaning patient rooms and areas, stocking supplies, and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment with a compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication with patients, staff and visitors.
• Ability to read and understand material safety data sheets (MSDS) and cleaning chemical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of patient rooms and assigned areas following department policy.
• Empty hampers, transport soiled linen, and manage trash and medical waste containers.
• Inventory, restock and replenish supplies (toilet tissue, towels, soap, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and log usage; report repairs.
• Handle special projects (windows washing, wall washing, etc.).
• Respond to questions from patients, staff and visitors; support patient safety and comfort.
