Job summary

UCSF is hiring an EVS Aide to maintain a clean, comfortable environment for patients, visitors and staff by following the Seven-Step Cleaning methods. You will provide fast, high-quality service across the hospital setting, collaborating with teammates and departments to support care operations.

Responsibilities include using EVS equipment safely, adhering to infection control standards, and contributing to a respectful, sanitary environment throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to move beds, isolates, cribs and ohio tables weighing up to 350 lbs.
• Exposure to cleaning agent, water, dust, blood and human body fluids.
• Ability to handle all EVS equipment to include floor machines, wet mop, mop buckets, custodial carts, dust mops and vacuums.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean, sanitary environment by following the EVS Seven-Step Cleaning methods.
• Provide fast, efficient and high quality service to patients, visitors and hospital staff.
• Support hospital operations with safe, effective cleaning practices.
