Job summary

Emanate Health in California is hiring an Environmental Services (EVS) aide to maintain a sterile, clean hospital environment. You will perform cleaning tasks as directed by the EVS supervisor, including areas that may contain IV solutions and medications.

The role requires basic reading and math, strong customer service, and adherence to safety. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On the job training; prior experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to understand basic chemical-mixing instructions; ability to use basic math; able to read, write and understand English.
• Excellent customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Complete all tasks and schedules assigned by the EVS supervisor to maintain a sterile, clean and healthy environment at the hospital.
• Clean areas that may contain IV solutions and medications as part of cleaning responsibilities.
• The EVS aide is trained to keep the room secure upon entering and leaving the secured area.
• Delivering world-class health care one patient at a time.
