Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Environmental Services/Housekeeping professional for 20 hours per week, with a 4-day pattern (5 hours daily) and mandatory weekend flexibility. The role requires cleaning patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas to hospital standards using seven-step processes and infection control guidelines.

You will also handle linen collection, waste sorting, and floor care while adhering to safety trainings and TDSS device use.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to follow seven step procedures and infection control policies.
• Proficient with basic computer programs and safety meetings.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms daily per standards and seven step procedures.
• Clean restrooms daily and restock supplies.
• Clean offices and conference rooms daily.
• Clean entrances, lobbies and waiting areas; vacuum carpets.
• Clean utility rooms and corridors as per procedures.
• Collect and transport soiled linen to designated areas.
• Sort and dispose of trash and recyclables properly.
• Maintain floors: strip, refinish, buff; operate floor machines.
• Participate in EVS in-service trainings and safety meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
