Job summary

Trinity Health MI is seeking an Environmental Specialist to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment. You will perform general and deep cleaning, manage supplies, and support safety and infection control policies.

Responsibilities include operating room and patient area cleaning, linen changes, waste disposal, and training staff in environmental services best practices, while adhering to fragrance-free standards and healthstream trainings.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months customer service or cleaning experience preferred.
• Certification/Licensure: Not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning of operating rooms, labs, kitchens, and other areas.
• Utilize cleaning techniques to deep clean equipment and spaces.
• Order, receive, and store cleaning supplies.
• Disinfect and wipe all surfaces; mop floors and dust.
• Assist in safety and training of staff on Environmental Services duties.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow policy and fragrance-free guidelines.
