Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Services Associate in Wisconsin. The role maintains patient areas, surgical spaces, and public areas to ensure a clean and safe environment. Hours are 6:30 am–3:00 pm with every other weekend and rotating holidays, for a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cleans patient care areas, surgical areas, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, offices, elevators, and stairwells.
• Cleans environmental surfaces including ceilings, vents, walls, doors, furniture, and beds; assists with spills.
• Dusts and mops floors in patient areas and corridors.
• Replaces cubicle and window coverings.
• Gathers and disposes recyclables, trash, and medical waste; collects hazardous waste following infection control guidelines.
• Sorts, stocks, and delivers linens; prepares soiled linen for transport.
• Cleans and prepares dismissal and transfer units and distributes supplies.
• Fills and cleans supply dispensers.
• Inventories linens and cleaning supplies; orders additional items; keeps closet organized.
• Reports mechanical failures or safety issues to supervisor.
