CHI Health St. Francis is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to keep patient rooms and hospital areas clean and sanitized.

You will perform routine cleaning, use equipment to sanitize, and follow disposal procedures for biohazard materials, while supporting patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include maintaining carts and supplies, handling waste streams, adhering to infection prevention practices and PPE protocols, and collaborating with the care team to meet cleanliness

Qualifications

• High school graduate; healthcare experience preferred.
• GED acceptable with healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Keep patient rooms and hospital areas clean and sanitized.
• Use specialized equipment and proper disposal techniques for biohazard materials.
• Refill soap dispensers, paper towels, and deliver clean linens.
• Maintain safety and infection control practices, including PPE procedures.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks per facility needs and support patient care team.
