Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional image and excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians and coworkers.
• Provides a clean and aseptic environment by performing housekeeping duties including waste removal, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, dusting, damp mopping, biohazard spill cleanup, soiled linen removal, making beds and vacuuming.
• Uses computers for training, data collection and during routine room turnover operations.
• Keeps records and submits daily activity via logs or worksheets.
• Follows hospital and departmental policies and procedures and complies with applicable regulatory agency laws.
• Changes drapes and cubicle curtains and operates floor and carpet care equipment (battery operated and corded).
• Remains proficient in established restorative, interim and routine floor and carpet care procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
