Job summary

Lafayette Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Ernest Health, Inc., in Lafayette, Indiana, is seeking a Housekeeper to join our compassionate patient-care team. You will clean and maintain patient areas, corridors, and common spaces to meet safety and cleanliness standards within a hospital environment.

Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and supporting overall hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping/environmental services experience preferred.
• OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Dusts, mops, and cleans items such as medicine cabinets, furniture, metals, mirrors, and equipment. Vacuums blinds, screens, and vents. Performs miscellaneous duties such as replenishing supplies. Sterilizes rooms after isolation. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
