Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Successful completion of the ARH Housekeeping Orientation Program (32 hours) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with nursing staff to clean occupied rooms first and respond to emergencies or spills.
• Cleans patient rooms daily and maintains floors, walls, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning chemicals.
• Performs related tasks such as waste disposal, dusting, and maintaining equipment in good condition.
• Attends required safety training and follows hospital exposure control plans for pathogens.
• Supports department goals and delivers a courteous, professional environment for patients and staff.
