Summit BHC seeks a House Keeper for Highland Hospital in Charleston, West Virginia. The role focuses on keeping a clean, safe patient care environment and ensuring proper disposal and infection control practices in daily operations.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas, operating cleaning and laundry equipment, and preparing rooms for meetings while maintaining stock of supplies and following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping in a commercial, clinical, or healthcare environment preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, speaking skills and understand English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions required.

Responsabilités

• Performs cleaning and custodial tasks to maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the facility.
• Cleans rooms, baths, laboratories, offices and halls using buffers, scrubbers, sweepers and carpet cleaning equipment.
• Operates commercial washers and dryers; launders soiled linens as directed.
• Disinfects rooms, furniture, fixtures, and equipment using appropriate processes and germicides.
• Maintains inventory in cleaning and linen supplies; cleans and stores equipment after each shift.
• Prepares rooms for meetings and arranges decorations and furniture for facility functions.
