Job summary

ClearSky Health is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe hospital environment. This role cleans patient rooms, ancillary areas, and floors using approved procedures, replaces draperies, and handles linen distribution.

The job requires adherence to safety protocols and infection prevention standards while supporting the overall wellbeing of patients, visitors, and staff. Experience in healthcare cleaning and strong organizational skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience in hospital or skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Knowledgeable of healthcare environmental services procedures.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection prevention standards.
• Ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all patient rooms and ancillary areas in assigned area using hospital approved processes and procedures.
• Cleans patient rooms immediately upon patient discharge.
• Vacums and cleans upholstered furniture and carpeted areas.
• Replaces soiled window draperies, moves furniture and equipment as directed.
• Spot cleans and washes walls; cleans light fixtures and dusting.
• Collects soiled linen and distributes clean linen and gowns.
• Maintains floors through stripping, waxing, buffing as needed.
• Disposes of waste and bio-waste per policy.
• Notifies administration of equipment repairs.
• Adheres to safety and infection prevention standards.
• Completes required trainings and works schedule.
