Job summary

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to keep patient rooms, clinical areas, and offices clean and safe. You will perform daily and discharge/terminal cleaning to support infection prevention and create a welcoming hospital environment.

This full-time EVS role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a careful adherence to infection-control procedures and PPE. Shifts are varied; multiple shifts available with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Learn and follow cleaning routines with minimal supervision.
• Customer-service mindset; uphold NARMC mission/values and standards of behavior; respond appropriately to isolation and safety situations.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, and offices; empty waste; restock paper and soap supplies.
• Perform discharge/terminal cleaning including isolation rooms per protocol.
• Dust/damp-dust furniture and equipment; clean inside windows, blinds, vents, and high areas.
• Sweep, wet mop, buff/wax floors, and spot clean carpets; move furniture/equipment as needed.
• Arrange rooms in an orderly fashion and respond to miscellaneous cleaning requests.
• Follow infection-control and PPE procedures; report safety issues promptly; deliver great customer service.
