Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services worker in Charlotte, NC. The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with a pay range of $18.85 to $28.30 per hour, and requires work every other weekend as part of the schedule.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, floor care, waste handling, and replenishing supplies, with on-the-job training provided. Prior related experience is preferred and benefits are included as part of total rewards.

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms required.
• On the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning tasks in assigned area following a 7-step cleaning process and bed remakes after discharge cleaning.
• Maintains floors and carpets per maintenance schedule.
• Cleans fixtures, furnishings, walls, floors, stairwells and interior/exterior of equipment.
• Empties trash, relines containers and handles waste as needed.
• Replenishes disposable items like soap, toilet paper, towels.
• Moves and resets furnishings after completing a job.
• Performs various floor care methods including mopping, stripping, refinishing, spot cleaning and burnishing with specified equipment.
