Job summary

CHI Lisbon Health is a 20 bed Critical Access Hospital with a 24 hour Emergency Level V Trauma Center and is part of the CommonSpirit Health family. This Environmental Services Technician role focuses on keeping patient areas clean and sanitized to protect patients, visitors and staff.

You will perform floor care, sanitization, biohazard management, and equipment maintenance, while ensuring safety and high standards of cleanliness across the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Floor Care: sweep, mop, and maintain floors.
• Sanitization: clean and disinfect patient rooms and common areas.
• Biohazard Management: safely dispose of biohazardous waste and sharps according to protocols.
• Equipment Maintenance: clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment.
• Supply Management: replenish dispensers and deliver clean linens.
• Safety Compliance: inspect areas to meet health and safety standards.
