CommonSpirit Memorial is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to keep patient rooms and hospital areas clean and sanitized, protecting patients and staff from infectious diseases and hazards.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, use of specialized equipment, and proper disposal of biohazard materials. Preference given to candidates with a high school diploma/GED and healthcare experience, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred, healthcare experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Complete daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas and common areas.
• Maintain cleaning carts, supplies and equipment; manage waste according to disposal and regulatory requirements.
• Follow infection prevention practices, PPE protocols and HIPAA privacy requirements.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safety, cleanliness and patient satisfaction.
