Job summary

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean patients' rooms and maintain nursing unit areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Transport patients by wheelchair, stretcher or bed within the hospital and assist with discharge transport.
• Deliver laboratory specimens, x-rays, lab reports, and other items as needed to support nursing staff.
• Move equipment and supplies, wash and disinfect, and keep area and supplies neat and safe.
• Assist in training new employees and address patient non-clinical needs.
