Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut, part of Hartford HealthCare, is hiring a Custodian/Environmental Services team member to keep patient areas clean and safe. You will operate cleaning equipment, handle waste, and help maintain a pleasant patient experience.

Requirements include fluency in English, ability to read instructions, valid CT driver’s license, basic computer skills, and a team-oriented attitude. High School Diploma or GED preferred. This is a full-time role with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes environment daily and per schedule.
• Collects, transports and disposes of municipal, recycled and regulated medical waste.
• Transports and delivers furniture and hospital items safely.
• Performs other related duties as required.
