Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking an Environmental Service Partner in Anderson, IN to maintain a clean and sanitary hospital environment. The role requires working Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, with every 3rd weekend rotation, contributing to patient comfort and safety.

You will perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas, replenish supplies, and handle waste/disposal while upholding Joint Commission and State Board of Health standards and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• No license required; high school diploma and/or GED preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to communicate effectively.
• Performs cleaning of areas assigned to provide high quality as required by Joint Commission and State Board of Health.
• Must be able to lift, bend, push, and pull; standing/walking approximately eight hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary environment in a professional manner.
• Replenish supplies and other dispensable items as needed.
• Transport and dispose of waste and soiled materials.
• Respect confidentiality and privacy needs of patients, families, and staff.
