Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Transylvania Regional Hospital is seeking a Manager of Environmental Services to lead and oversee sanitation, safety, and housekeeping operations. You will ensure regulatory compliance, develop standards, and coordinate with hospital leadership to create an aseptic, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include evaluating systems, guiding improvements, preparing department reports, and supervising daily activities while aligning with policy and Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

• College Degree preferred, High School Diploma required, and at least three years in managing Environmental Services.
• Knowledge of hospital operations and healthcare financial metrics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates existing systems and processes, initiates change and improvements.
• Ensures compliance with policies and regulatory standards (TJC, OSHA, EEOC).
• Oversees operations to provide a sanitary, aseptic environment and coordinates department functions.
• Prepares department records and reports on metrics such as bed turnaround times.
• Leads ethical business practices in line with the Compliance Program and policies.
