Job summary

MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Housekeeper to support our Environmental Services team. This entry-level role ensures patients and families have a clean, welcoming environment during visits.

You will work a day shift, with an emphasis on teamwork, communication with nursing staff, and upholding high standards of cleanliness and patient comfort. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous Housekeeper experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• You will perform cleaning duties and maintain environmental surfaces in an orderly and sanitary condition.
• You will organize and complete required department tasks in coordination with services provided by patient care personnel and other support service departments.
• You will communicate effectively with your team and nursing staff.
• You will partner with a service-oriented attitude and professional integrity.
