Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking an Environmental Service Attendant I for a Part Time, 0.80 FTE, Day position in Oregon. This role cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, corridors and common areas following established procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of formal housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
• May be required: Driver's License
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas according to procedures (dusting, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, restocking supplies).
• Set up furniture in conference rooms as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping cart and replenish supplies; restock sharps containers.
• Respond to emergency cleaning needs in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to prioritize cleaning in clinical areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
