Job summary

Independence Health System is seeking a dedicated environmental services associate to clean and service hospital areas, following department procedures and regulatory guidelines.

You will perform daily cleaning, manage waste transport, restock supplies, and document tasks with accuracy while communicating status to the shift lead. This role requires reliability, good organization, and strong customer service skills on-site at multiple hospital locations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Good organizational skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
• Excellent communication and customer services skills.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services any assigned hospital area/facility.
• Performs routine cleaning requests from customers within departmental duties.
• Performs daily cleanup and care of equipment and materials.
• Collects and transports waste and soiled linens following procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintains documentation and communicates task status to the shift lead.
