Kindred Hospital Seattle – First Hill is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to clean and service building areas, move equipment, and maintain a neat, safe, and sanitary hospital environment. This role supports patient care by ensuring high hygiene standards in a long-term acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English to comprehend instructions of cleaning materials.
• Must have good and regular attendance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned area (including walls, doors, tile, fixtures, patient TVs and equipment).
• Sweeps, mops floors and vacuums carpet; spot cleans carpet.
• Cleans restrooms, vanity areas, showers and commodes; replenishes essentials.
• Collects and removes trash; sanitizes garbage cans and compactor area.
• May collect and transport hazardous waste in a special closed container for sterilization before disposal.
• May collect soiled linen and distribute clean linen.
